My story

LuxeAfford really began with family. After 31 rewarding years in education and raising three amazing boys, I began a new chapter centered around designing and creating décor for my children’s weddings. But it quickly became something much bigger. I discovered how much I loved taking an idea—sometimes nothing more than a photo, a color palette, or a feeling—and figuring out how to bring it to life. Today, as a certified event designer and florist, I bring thoughtful design and custom details to weddings, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and more.

I’m a firm believer that beautiful design doesn’t have to mean choosing the most expensive option or recreating someone else’s special event or celebration. I love working collaboratively with my clients, learning what matters to them, and finding creative ways to give them the look and feeling they envision while being thoughtful about their priorities and budget.

I’m definitely a details person. I’ll obsess over the placement of a flower, the perfect shade of ribbon or a tiny personalized touch that someone else might never notice—because those details are often what make everything come together.

My favorite part? That moment when a client sees everything finished for the first time. There is nothing better than hearing, “This is exactly what I pictured”—or even better, “This is more beautiful than I imagined.”
